Tab Trade - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That should round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
